I seem to have written several thought/provoking or long and detailed posts recently, so this one is just for fun!
Today I ate a green tea milk shake. It was good.
Sam sent me a package this week that included a hand-written love letter and a Navy water bottle. Enormous smiles all around!
After thoroughly enjoying dancing for 2 hours last night - during which I performed and taught a country line dance, I went and did over an hour of Taekwondo this morning. And I'm hardly even sore. Heck yes to running, working out, and exercising! It's nice to see some progress.
Tomorrow is a holiday which means I get to sleep in and that all the food places will be closed. I think I have to write it the other way for there to be a silver lining.
Lying on our couch dozing this afternoon I was serenaded by one of my suite mates unconsciously singing Kpop while playing Candy Crush Saga.
And at about 2330, somebody random walked by my window singing.
ALSO, I know the Korean word for song: 노래, noray. (Yes, I am feeling accomplished right now.)
Today I locked myself out of my room, so when the guard gave me the master key to let myself in, I brought him back a candy bar. He laughed. I hope that was a good thing... o.O
Last week, the evening after my Grandfather passed away I got to talk to almost everyone in my family. My 17-year-old brother Ezra even downloaded Skype on his phone so he could talk to me. Just to add to the sweetness? His front camera is broken so he stood in front of a mirror for half an hour so that we could see each other while Skyping!
This morning I met a new friend who said he spoke some Spanish, when I asked him what he knew he laughed and said, "¡Hola! ....Uh, what is your name again?" "...Beth." "Ah. ¡Beth está bonita!" Mmm...AWW!
The end. I hope it made you feel good!
